VINEYARD:
The Champagne Les Jutées 2013 by Pertois Moriset is the Blanc de Blancs symbol of the Domaine produced from a single plot of Chardonnay: the Lieu-Dit Les Jutées, from which it takes its name, located in Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger in Côte des Blancs. These vineyards, classified as Grand Cru, were planted in 1979 and have a completely southern exposure.
WINEMAKING:
For this numbered edition of Champagne, the fermentation of the yeasts takes place in steel tanks for 7 months. It is a Brut Nature – which means no final dosage - and the bottling dates back to June 2014.
TASTING NOTES:
The Champagne Les Jutées 2013 by Pertois Moriset is of great level and elegance: the nose perceives slight notes of fruit and citrus fruits, while the aromas of yeasts and honey are more decisive. In the mouth it is an explosion of ripe fruits, the perlage is very fine and the structure is perfectly balanced by acidity and minerality. It is a Champagne for important occasions and refined dinners, perfect in combination with foie gras and some French ages cheeses.
