Viticulture:
The vineyard practices sustainable viticulture and is undergoing organic conversion. The vines, exclusively Merlot, are planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare. Mechanical harvesting ensures efficiency and quality.
Winemaking:
The winemaking process includes fermentation with native yeasts, followed by aging for 12 months—80% in barrels and 20% in Galileo concrete vats. This approach helps to maintain the freshness and purity of the Merlot grapes.
Tasting Notes:
Château Le Conte exhibits a deep garnet color. The nose is rich with aromas of black fruits and black cherry. On the palate, it is round, juicy, and slightly tangy, with velvety tannins that provide a smooth finish.
