Viticulture:
The estate, managed by the Labuzan family, follows sustainable viticulture practices. The vines average 25 years old, and the grape varieties used are predominantly Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%).
Winemaking:
The winemaking process for "Cuvée Rubis" includes fermentation in stainless steel vats and aging in a combination of stainless steel and French oak barrels. This approach helps integrate the flavors while preserving the fruit's freshness. About 50% of the wine is aged in barriques, adding complexity and depth.
Tasting Notes:
This wine offers aromas of dark fruits such as black plum, along with notes of coffee, sweet spice, and graphite.
